1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Race & Finish ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Race & Finish is a platform that connects runners, event organizers, coaches, and the running community. We provide tools for event registration, social networking, marketplace transactions, and training resources.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Account Types

• User: Standard account for participants
• Organizer: Account for event organizers (requires verification)
• Admin: Platform administrators

4. Event Registration

4.1 Registration Process

When you register for an event, you enter into a direct agreement with the event organizer. Race & Finish acts as a platform facilitator.

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed through our payment partners. Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the event organizer.

4.3 Cancellations

Event cancellation and refund policies are set by individual organizers. Race & Finish is not responsible for event cancellations or refunds.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content.

5.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam or malicious code
• Harasses or threatens others
• Impersonates another person or entity

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers agree to:

• Provide accurate event information
• Fulfill all obligations to registered participants
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Handle participant data responsibly

7. Platform Fees

Race & Finish charges a platform fee on event registrations. Fee structure is communicated to organizers and may be updated with notice.

8. Marketplace

The marketplace allows users to buy and sell running-related items. Transactions are between buyers and sellers. Race & Finish is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Scrape or harvest data from the Platform
• Create fake accounts or manipulate the system
• Sell or transfer your account

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content (excluding user content) are owned by Race & Finish and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RACE & FINISH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Race & Finish from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
